Valuation Exchange
Valuation Exchange provides a total valuation and valuer panel management solution for the residential mortgage lending industry. It is not a valuation firm as such, and conducts no valuations itself - rather it distributes the valuations to a panel of qualified panel firms and fully manages the process on the lender's behalf.
Valuation Exchange is also developing a range of added value services which will be available to valuation firms in 2007.
The ValEx System
The "engine" that drives the Valuation Exchange business is the ValEx system.
ValEx is an end-to-end proprietary valuation management system, developed by an in-house IT department. It is web-based and has been designed to manage and report on every aspect of the valuation process. It provides client and valuer access, communications and business-to-business data transfer using LIXI standards.
Megaw & Hogg National Valuers
The Valuation exchange operates in tandem with Megaw & Hogg National Valuers which is a traditional valuation business providing valuation services throughout Australia. These are conducted through M&HNVs 15 company locations, including all capital cities (except Darwin).
